Privacy Policy

This page explains what data the tool uses and how advertising and third-party cookies work.

What we collect

Denisse DNS Checker performs DNS lookups you request. The domain and record type you enter are sent to our lookup endpoint to query public DNS resolvers. We do not require an account and do not sell personal data.

Advertising and cookies

To keep the tool free, we may display advertising and use affiliate links. Third-party advertising providers (such as Google AdSense, if enabled) may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Analytics

To understand which pages people find useful, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Both are third-party services that set cookies or use similar technologies, and both operate under their own privacy policies.

Microsoft Clarity goes further than page counts: it records browsing sessions and builds heatmaps of clicks and scrolling. That recording can include the domain names you type into the checker. We use it to find where the tool is confusing, not to identify individuals.

Neither one loads unless you allow it. On your first visit we ask, and nothing is requested from Google or Microsoft until you accept — declining means no script is loaded and no request is made at all. You can also block third-party scripts or cookies in your browser settings. The DNS checker works exactly the same either way.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we have a material connection to the provider. We may earn a commission from purchases made through some links on this page, at no extra cost to you.
